Craft e-Revolution is an ebook shop where the crafty folk can come to learn something new. I want Craft e-Revolution to be the premier source for photographed craft tutorials of all kinds, published in ebook format.   I am looking for established or new authors who want to have their craft ebooks published here.

If you have never written a book before, but you think you have a good idea for one, please pitch your idea to me. Attach two tutorials you have written and photographed, as an example of what you can do. This will be an example of your best writing skills, paired with photography skills.  I will evaluate your idea, and get back to you.

If you have a regular blog where you do craft or food tutorials, please pitch your idea, and give me the link to your blog, so I may read your work and get an idea for your style. I will read your pitch and your blog and get back to you.

I am looking for all sorts of craft tutorials. The following are of particular interest:

  • Homesteading arts (how to bake the perfect bread, whittle the perfect whistle, weave the perfect basket, raise the most delicious chicken)
  • Sewing tutorials (how to make skirts, small gift items, dolls)
  • Fine art tutorials (how to paint X, how to use X medium, how to make X with clay/wood/whatever, how to sculpt X)
  • Cooking arts (How to cook X)
  • Fiber art tutorials (how to knit X, how to crochet X, how to felt X)

When pitching your idea, think about the number of projects for the book, and the focus of the book as well. Will you only write about desserts? If your book is about pottery, which exact projects will you outline for the reader? Specific is better than general.

It’s so exciting to start a new craft project. Is writing a book your new project? I hope so. Please visit the Submissions FAQ page and let me know if you still have a question. I will answer all questions quickly and completely—I want you to understand the process and have an easy time working with me.

With four years of publishing experience,  including stylish ebook formatting and successful online ebook sales,  I am prepared to make Craft e-Revolution the place where readers come to learn a new craft or skill. Will they choose your book?
